The Silver Corsair is my baby. Ashni started life as your basic D&D character. In fact, those of you who were there may remember the bard Robyn. Well, Robyn could be considered Proto-Ashni. She has obviously developed quite a bit since that time. No longer a bard, she is now owner of The Silver Corsair Merchant Company. She has her faults, her secrets, her regrets. She isn't perfect. I think that's why I love her so. In case you're wondering, the character Ashni Yanova Mehal was named long before I borrowed her moniker for my online identity. She's not me. She is as much her own person as a fictional character can be. I hope that my attempt to capture her life in prose is worthy of her. (And now that I've weirded you out with how into this character I am, go read about her!)
